Today we are speaking about relative pronouns which are useful to link two sentences together.
For instance, we say:
Il libro, che ho letto, era molto interessante.
L'aereo, su cui viaggiavamo, era puntuale.
The invariable forms are: che and cui. Che is used as subject or object of the sentence. Cui is used in indirect complements (with prepositions).
The variable forms are: il quale, la quale, i quali, le quali. They can be used both as direct and indirect complements.
